How will I know if I’m registered?
We’ll confirm with you after we receive your contact information. If we have any questions, we’ll ask them then. Otherwise, we’ll send you a welcome kit with confirmation and you’ll be good to go!
How will I know what to say about Kevin and his programs?
We’ll provide you with an up-to-date summary of the programs Kevin offers upon confirmation. Whenever anything changes, we’ll let you know!
What’s a “Qualified Referral?”
Basically, they need to make it clear they contacted us because of you. For instance, they either clearly mention it verbally (e.g., “I was referred by ‘The Referrer,’” or “‘The Referrer’ referred me to you specifically”), in writing (via email or text) or in our online intake form (in the field marked “Did someone specifically refer you here?”).
How will I know if they’ve contacted you?
We’ll inform you as soon as someone has contacted us and mentioned your name.
How long is the referral good for?
90 days. Once a qualified referral has been received, it will be “registered” to you for a period of 90 days from the date they first contact us. If no engagement is confirmed inside that 90-day period (i.e., if nothing happens after 3 months), it will be considered an “open” account again after that.
Can there be more than one feferrer on the same client/account?
No. First come, first served. There may only be one Referrer. If we’ve already received a qualified referral from that same business from someone else, we’ll let you know.
Do referral fees recur or renew?
No. Referral fees are a one-time reward that will be paid for the initial client engagement only.
When are referral fees paid?
You get paid when we’re paid in full by the client. Depending on the engagement, invoices sometimes get split (deposits, etc.) if the event is some distance into the future. We’ll be sure to communicate the timing and let you know when to send your invoice.
What if the client cancels?
No referral fees will be paid for engagements that are cancelled by the client before being paid in full.
What do I have to do to get paid (other than register and refer you)?
Send us an invoice (we’ll let you know the timing and correct amount). You’re responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable taxes.
How are fees paid?
Referral fees will be paid by e-transfer (Canadian transactions) and or PayPal or Veem for international clients. All referral fees will be paid in Canadian dollars.
